My name is Shona, I am a mother of two grown children and two fur babies. We live in Las Vegas, Nevada.
During my 29 years in education, I have taught pre-k through 1st grade, along with being an English Language Facilitator and a district ELA coach.
During my time in Pre-K, I built and maintained a 5-star program based on the ECERs 3 rating scale and learned a lot along the way.
I have my undergrad in elementary and special education, my masters in early childhood, and a TESOL endorsement.
My passion for learning and helping others is what has driven me to create a blog and provide other educators with the resources and tools to create a high quality, developmentally appropriate learning environment.
